Practice Areas

I practice exclusively in family law and am instructed in the full range of children’s matters in both public and private law proceedings. I have appeared at all levels of court including the High Court and the court of appeal.

I am qualified to accept instructions under the direct public access to barristers scheme.

Private law children
In private law children proceedings my practice encompasses applications concerning leave to remove from the jurisdiction, child arrangements, parental responsibility and specific issues.

Public law children
In public law children proceedings I represent parents, children, family members in complex children matters. I am also instructed by local authorities, Cafcass legal, and the Official Solicitor.

Injunction proceedings
I regularly appear in injunction applications under the Family Law Act and have represented parties in Protection of Harassment Act injunctions, committal proceedings and Hague Convention proceedings.
